Nine years designing how 120M+ players understand and control their data
WHAT I DO: I'm a product designer at Xbox, where I've spent nine years on the parts of the platform people only notice when they go wrong: incident status, privacy settings, consent requests, and support. My work spans console, PC, mobile, web, and TV, in 42 countries and 10K+ titles.
WHY TRUST: Consent is the one place a product asks a person for something instead of giving them something. Get it wrong and you've either broken the law or broken the relationship. Designing the Xbox Trust Center and our global consent controls taught me that clarity is not a nice-to-have here — it's the entire product. I build modular systems that partner teams can plug into, so trust stays consistent instead of fragmenting across surfaces.
HOW I WORK: Research first, then information architecture, then interface. I'm a heavy advocate for tidy design libraries and shared process toolkits — they're how a small design team keeps pace with a platform this size.
WHATS NEXT: I'm looking for senior or staff work where trust, privacy, safety, or design systems are the core problem, not an afterthought — including how consent should work for AI features.
